CAROLINAS SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT FUND

A statewide nonprofit and Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that lends to startups and existing businesses, with emphasis on businesses that have difficulty accessing financing through traditional lending sources. Also provides one-on-one assistance and business coaching, educational seminars, webinars, and training events.

A business advisory resource for growing and developing businesses, the SBTDC provide services statewide from offices hosted by campuses of The University of North Carolina System on topics including planning, financial management, human resources, marketing, and operations. The SBTDC operates in formal partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
